CIO update
We are thrilled to share some exciting news for the future of 623 Club as we enter a new era as a registered charity – 623 Club CIO!
After successfully registering with the Charity Commission last year, an Ofsted inspection took place, this was a registration visit for us to be able to open a new club as a ‘charitable incorporated organisation’ and replaces the existing ‘constituted club’ that ran for over 15 years.
The Ofsted inspector gave some great feedback and was able to say that everything is in place to open and run Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs.
623 Club is here to support parents by providing a high-quality wraparound service that is regulated by Ofsted and licensed by the Food Standards Agency. Our new charitable status not only opens up additional opportunities to generate revenue, but shows our commitment to our non-profit making and community-focused ethos whilst also giving confidence that our club management meets the highest standards. We take what we do very seriously – whilst having lots of fun!
The Club as you know it now will still continue, nothing operational has changed. With our new registration we have an updated reference for the tax-free childcare (2784837) and we will need to update parental agreements.
Parent testimonials
“Emma was very helpful, quick to respond to my queries and sent me paperwork straight away. She was very good at reassuring me as I was apprehensive to send my 8 and 4 year old as we don’t usually rely on children’s clubs.
“The children settled straight away and I could tell they felt comfortable. They came home that day with a handful of different crafts and told me all about decorating and eating cakes, having egg races outside.”
“My daughter attended 623 during the Easter holidays for the first time, she was a little nervous on arrival. However Emma took her and showed her the activities they had planned.
“She had the best time and has asked to go again. A lovely staff and great club, highly recommended.”
“Since joining 623 we have seen a huge increase in our son’s confidence and he now mixes with other people much better – he also loves the food!”
